                                                     Causes of Fast Food Popularity

Nowadays, many people are eating fast food without knowing the causes of its popularity. One

important cause is affordability. To illustrate, junk foods are cheaper than healthy foods. For example,

a double cheeseburger with French fries, and a large size Pipse costs about twenty five food

McDonald’s. In contrast, a grilled salmon ranges from ninety to one hundred from Twins Seafood

Restaurant. Also, the price are suitable for both poor and wealthy people. Actually, a new research

shows that poor people eat from fast food restaurants more than rich people. The second cause for the

popularity of fast food restaurants is having a busy lifestyle. For example, when parents are busy and

they don’t have time to make healthy foods, they will depend on fast foods since they are much easier

and quicker to get it than healthy foods. In addition, students who are studying abroad will eat from

fast food restaurants because they don’t have time to cook for themselves. The last cause is that all

people know about fast food restaurants from technology. To elaborate, a lot of famous people make

advertisements for fast food restaurants. As a result of this celebrity support, people end up buying

from fast food restaurants. Also, restaurants take orders through applications and offer deliveries. For

example, HungerStation is one of the most efficient application that give access to menus and deliver

orders to people’s houses. To sum up, people should cut down on fast food restaurants to safe their

lives.
