Although peoples’ purposes for joining a gym may vary, there are three main reasons why they choose to go to a gym. The first reason is that gyms provide a variety of exercise equipment. They provide numerous machines for multiple exercises of the body. As a result, people can give each part of their bodies a sufficient workout. The second reason is that people can get to know new friends who may workout with them inside the gym. Consequently, they can help each other with exercises and learn from each other. Furthermore, if they share the same aim, they can support and encourage each other to reach their goals. Lastly, gyms offer personal trainers, and it's a major reason why most people prefer to join a gym. Moreover, those trainers can instruct people to exercise the right way in order to avoid injuries. Also, personal trainer can evaluate people's progress so that they can be aware if they are on the right track, or they need to improve more. To sum up, people have three main reasons for choosing to join a gym, and they are the variety of the exercise equipment, getting to know exercise friends, and the personal trainers that gyms offer.
