Although learning a new language may seem difficult, you will find it very easy if you follow these fundamental steps. The first and the most important step is to surround yourself with this language. You can change your phone language, for example. Also, listen to a podcast while you are walking, write your to-do list, and watch YouTube videos all with the new language. Next, read. .books which are written by the language that you want to learn. Do not jump to the expert level immediately. Start with the beginner level such as children books or comic novels, so you will not need to translate a lot of words which could make you feel bored. The third step is to write your diaries using the new language. For instance, write the most interesting thing that happened to you each day, so you will focus on the vocabularies that are related to that event and memories them better. This step will also help you to think more with this language and encourage you to search for new vocabularies to use. Finally, make relationships with native speakers. Nowadays, you do not have to travel to meet native speakers because you can find them easily on social media and chat with them. This step will improve your speaking skills and acquire the informal language that you will not learn it academically. In conclusion, if you follow these steps, you will learn and master the new language in a shorter time than what you expected.
