Although technology has a strong impact on peoples’ lives, it has negative effects that should be considered. To begin with, nowadays, the employment opportunities have started to decrease. Even though technology is almost involved in every detail of our lives, it is taking a strong place in peoples’ jobs. For example, in the past, there was a mail man to deliver the letters, but now this job has started to disappear due to the availability of the electronic mails and text messages on smartphones. Second, technology affects the communication among people. With social media, people have stopped to meet in person because they have an easy way to communicate leisurely. Also, while using social media, people have started to look at the empty side of the cup and seek the external manifestation instead of communication. They post pictures to shoe their lives and their current state instead of asking about each other. Therefore, a lack of communication between people results. Finally, technology has a huge impact on people’s thinking abilities and memories. In fact, people are becoming dependent because technology has made their lives easier. For instance, people use google to search about everything instead of thinking even if the information was not hard. Thus, their memories get weaker, and they lose the ability to think critically and creatively. In conclusion, the decrease of employment opportunities, the effect of communication among people, and the impact on people’s thinking abilities and memories are major negative effects of technology that impact peoples’ lives. In the future, more problems will emerge due to the technological revolution.
